Caroline Olsen is a versatile violist and educator pursuing doctoral performance studies at the University of British Columbia. She holds a core position with the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra and also performs with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony, Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, Symphony 21, and the Pacific Baroque Orchestra.
Through Health Arts Society BC’s Concerts in Care, she brings outreach performances to audiences in healthcare and retirement communities. Her work also spans folk, mariachi, jazz, and contemporary popular genres, integrating both studio and live performance.
Caroline has taught private violin and viola lessons to students of all ages for over a decade and has been active in Canadian Viola Society administration since 2020.
