Caroline Olsen is a versatile violist and educator in doctoral performance studies at the University of British Columbia. In addition to a core position with the Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, Caroline appears with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony, Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra, Symphony 21, and the Pacific Baroque Orchestra. Through Health Arts Society BC’s Concerts in Care, she brings outreach concerts to audiences in health care and retirement communities. Complementary projects incorporate studio and live work in folk, mariachi, jazz, and contemporary popular genres. She has taught private music lessons to students of all ages in violin and viola for well over a decade. Caroline has been active in CVS administration since 2020.
