Welcome to the Canadian Viola Society’s 2022 Viola Day! We invite members to join us for a day full of masterclasses featuring students and teachers from across the country. There will be time to socialize with fellow members, movement therapy with Karen Moffatt, and a special masterclass with our featured guest artist. See the full schedule outlined below!

Young artists interested in performing for masterclasses can fill out the following form.

Featuring Guest Artist Jutta Puchhammer-Sédillot, Full professor of viola and chamber music, Université de Montréal.

With masterclasses led by Guyonne LeLouarn, Elvira Misbakhova, Dean O’Brien, Isabelle Roland, Chris Sandvoss, and Michael van der Sloot.

4:00 – 5:30 p.m. Simultaneous masterclasses

5:30 – 5:45 p.m. Social Time

5:45 – 6:30 p.m. Movement Therapy with Karen Moffatt

6:30 – 7:00 p.m. Special Presentation and Award Ceremony

7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Masterclass with Jutta Puchhammer-Sédillot
